SEXY MESS at SEXYLAND | 2019

In 2019, Yes Etc created a collaborative event named Sexy Mess, in partnership with Mirik Milan of Vibelab to celebrate queer community and pay homage to the cultural contributions of and underground nightlife culture. In collaboration with Mirik Milan from Vibe Lab, queer collective House of Hopelezz and Amsterdam venue Club Church, we were able to bring the House of Yes magic oversees and create an out-of-the-box presence during the key weekend of Amsterdam Dance Event. In the end, we produced a sold-out event that stood out from the crowd that fused dance culture and performance art and brought diverse communities together on an international scale.
To standout from the multitude of dance party options and competition during ADE, we created bespoke art installations and secret “green room” experiences. Additionally, we offered programming which included an Industry-Only Mixer as well as an early evening performance showcase featuring local drag talent, club kids and circus artists from Amsterdam, Brooklyn, Berlin and beyond.
