BELLA’S BAT MITZVAH

Sixteen year old Bella was ready to throw a one-of-a-kind celebration to mark her milestone teen birthday combined with a belated bat-mitzvah. Inspired by her unique sense of style, she envisioned an event that was part Tim Burton, part Elvira, with a touch of Billie Eilish—something dark yet glamorous, edgy but fun.

While Bella’s mom played the role of event planner, Bella’s artistic vision took center stage, resulting in a celebration that blended spooky glam with the celebratory vibe of a Bat Mitzvah. Taking place on Halloweekend in NYC - the YES ETC team created an atmosphere that felt like a gothic fantasy, rich in black and white patterns, dark sparkle, and a sense of otherworldly charm.

The team worked closely with Bella and her family to carefully curate every detail of the day, balancing Bella’s edgy, rebellious side with the lighthearted fun that helps bring a Bat Mitzvah to life.

• Cast and managed 5 performers for the evening

• Created a custom Tim Burton inspired black and white photo booth set

• Curated an interactive station where guests could take photos, write a message, and decorate pages of a book for Bella.

• Collaborated with a projectionist to custom projection map the theater

• Commissioned a custom cake in Bella’s chosen color palette
