To celebrate their first New Years Eve , The Ned NoMad, an exclusive members club and hotel in New York City, hosted a dazzling Studio 54-style "Le Freak" disco bash produced and curated by YES ETC. In collaboration with the venue - we created custom decor concepts for six different bar spaces including a disco ball chandelier in the atrium, mannequin displays in the library and even turning their dining room into a retro disco strip club. Members of the club were treated to pop up disco dance routines, stilt walkers, tarot readers and more as they danced their way into the new year.
OUR MAGIC
Curated, cast and managed a cast of 20 performers for the evening
Transformed the Dining Room into a disco strip club featuring NYC’s best pole performers harkening back to the 1970’s Time Square days
Refashioned the FirePit into a Tarot Lounge with custom decor displays hosted by tarot readers and performers encouraging guests to write letters to themselves that would be sent to guests the following year.
Created signature Studio 54 style decor pieces and installations throughout the spaces such as a replica of the Studio 54 Moon and the iconic oversized horse.
Created custom photo booth backdrop to act as a step and repeat upon guest arrival
Glammed up guests with custom Beauty Bar curated to brand colors
Designed and executed tattoo station with a custom flash sheet inspired by NYE
Choreographed bespoke dance performances including a specialized number to coincide with the countdown to midnight.
